What languages do you speak? In class, we only speak English. We use Google Translate when we need to.

Does the class ever meet in person? We currently meet online. In the future we may offer events in Grass Valley, California for those who can attend.

What computer or phone technology do I need?

• A good Internet connection

• A computer, tablet or smart phone with camera and microphone. Please use a headset: this reduces noise during our meetings.

• A Google account. See the Resources page for more on this.

• An email account that you check daily. This can be Google’s Gmail or any other email address.

• If you will be using a phone or tablet, install these free apps: Google Meet, Google Classroom, Google Docs

Can I use my phone for class and for homework? You can use a smart phone but a computer or tablet will work better for some of the websites that we use, and for writing assignments.

What computer skills do I need? You need to be able to find Internet websites and use email.

Is this for adults or children? Anyone 14 or older can join our program.

What if I want to stop? If at any time you decide you want to stop, you can request a refund for the remaining classes, minus a $10 processing fee.

What happens if I fill out the "Get Started" form? Within 72 hours, you will receive an email with instructions.
